My wife called and made a reservation days in advance. When we got there, we were told it would be a 45 min wait. We told the hostess that we made a reservation but the hostess told us that we were told, when we called, that there would be an additional wait. When my wife explained that we received no such communication, , the manager came over and reiterated what the hostess had said. This manager was the most smug/disrespectful manager to my wife, it actually took me a few minutes to calm down. Despite the manager and what had happened, my wife and I decided to wait 45 minutes. Only the wait wasn’t 45 minutes, the wait was 75 minutes. If I had known I was going to have to wait 75 minutes, past the time I had reserved, I would have gone somewhere else. Won’t be coming back here ever again!
The food was delicious as always. I have to comment however I come here multiple times with my wife in also every birthday which includes myself my wife my 2 kids and my in laws. Suffice to say I frequent your restaurant quite often. We went for habachi for my father-in-law's birthday. Our chef hands down was the least personable we have ever had. His demeanor acted like he didn't care, often times he seemed extremely disengaged. When I go to habachi I have an expectation that the atmosphere will be uplifting. Additionally the entire restaurant had a very Negative vibe. It felt to me as if almost the start of the dinner shift had some negative feelings. This is the 1st time I've ever seen the atmosphere of your restaurant like this. This isn't to say that I'll never return however I am trying to understand why the service was lackluster at best I am to say the least very disappointed in my experience last night. But please when I return for my next visit everything will be back to nor
